List of facebook smileys To use when chating with friend and family

Hello world are you wondering how your friend use facebook smileys?? lol I was on facebook chat earlier this morning with an old friend whom I haven't seen for quite some time. We were just talking about old times when i replied with a funny smiley and she was like, "how did you do that?" I was a bit surprised she didn't know about how to use smilies on facebook chat and messaging because I assumed everybody did. I couldn't find a better way to reply.....
Unlike Yahoo messenger and other IM platforms that gives a list of supported smileys, facebook doesn't, they just assume you should know them. Below is a list of facebook emoticons supported at the moment and the codes to make them appear.

You should, however, note that these smileys can't be used on facebook mobile messaging. You can type them while sending a message on facebook mobile though and your recipient will see the emoticon if he/she is using facebook desktop version.
